Vernon
Woods now offers Short Term Assisted Living for someone
who is leaving the hospital but needs time to regain
strength before returning home, or for someone whose
caregiver may be away for a vacation or short period
of time. Vernon Woods provides a safe and comfortable
setting in our guest apartment, located in Vernon Terrace,
our Assisted Living residence.
Our trained and caring staff is available 24-hours to provide assistance with
daily activities such as bathing, grooming, or managing medications. Guests
receive the same amenities and services as Vernon Woods residents including
three meals a day in the dining room, two snacks per day, laundry service,
housekeeping including towel and linen service and scheduled transportation.
In addition, guests can enjoy the gym, spa and regularly scheduled activities
and wellness programs as well as the convenience of having an on-site beauty/barber shop and dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up service. A Short Term
Stay is available for up to 30 days or at the discretion of the Vernon Woods
Executive Director.
