SHORT-TERM ASSISTED LIVING IS ALSO AVAILABLE:

Vernon Woods offers Short Term Assisted Living for someone who is leaving the hospital but needs time to regain strength before returning home, or for someone whose caregiver may be away for a vacation or short period of time. Vernon Woods provides a safe and comfortable setting in our guest apartment, located in Vernon Terrace, our Assisted Living residence.

Our trained and caring staff is available 24-hours to provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, or managing medications. Guests receive the same amenities and services as Vernon Woods residents including three meals a day in the dining room, two snacks per day, housekeeping including personal laundry service and scheduled transportation. In addition, guests can enjoy the gym, spa and regularly scheduled activities and wellness programs as well as the convenience of having an on-site beauty/barber shop and dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up service. A Short Term Stay is available for up to 30 days or longer at the discretion of the Vernon Woods Executive Director.

Assisted Living at Vernon Woods

Assisted Living care at Vernon Terrace is a neighborhood developed to provide assistance with activities of daily living as well as three meals a day and the extra support that allows for a fulfilling life. Trained staff members are available to meet your scheduled and unscheduled needs in order to promote maximum independence and dignity.

Our Vernon Terrace neighborhood is licensed by the State of Georgia and adheres to the prescribed guidelines set for by the Department of Community Health.
